They support teenagers in a Fire Service environment to help them achieve a Duke of Edinburgh Award and also get involved in other youth engagement activities. Amber Valley CVS would like to thank “UPS” United Parcel Service, Derby for their kind donation of Adult and Children dressing gowns. UPS said “we are pleased that people will benefit from them otherwise they would have been destroyed”. Amber Valley CVS have been able to distribute them to various organisations that receive support.

The Southern Derbyhsire Health and Social Care Forum was well attended. Presentations were delivered by Alison Pritchard – Shadow Health and Wellbeing Board, Helen Jones and Emma Barradell – Clinical Commisioning Group, Bren Davies – Erewash Community Concern and a workshop by Kerrie Fletcher – Trusted Befriending Network.
